I like the two rail tracks heading off into the distance in this picture, as well as the texture of the clouds.  I think the reflection of the sun off the rail tracks looks cool too.

I like how most of the 'landscape' in this picture is actually under the bridge.  I also think that the two people in the foreground give a sense of the size of the bridge.

I like all the greenery in this picture.  It makes the buildings in the background seem rather unexpected.  At a casual glance, it is easy to think that this scene is somewhere other than Pittsburgh.

First Assignment

Here's my good edited image.  I adjusted it to make the colors brighter.

Original of edited photo.  Maybe there's not that much difference after all, but the colors definitely aren't as vibrant.

This photo, from hubblesite.org, was taken by the Hubble Space Telescope.  Although not a photograph taken by a traditional camera, I really like this photo, and others that the Hubble has taken because they show us so much about how vast the universe is, and about how insignificant we are.  Remember that each prick of light in that photo is a star with its own solar system....

This Image is from robertarood.wordpress.com, but it reminds me of my trip to Wyoming. My favorite part of the trip was certainly the beautiful landscapes.
